<idAbs>Wednesday 23 May 2012 by Rex ----------------------------- 1) Received 100m buffer taken from the painted edge of the State Highway from NZTA as Mapinfo files (via Chrissy gisamap.ltd@xtra.co.nz). 2) Converted the Mapinfo files and merged all buffer polygons. I also added to the 100m buffer data, Takitimu Drive (Route K) and Te Maunga Lane, Te Maunga Way designation and northern arterial designation.3) I created a data called UseToCutBuffer which I use to clip the buffer data. The UseToCutBuffer is made of; - Rail designations (no road designations as these are lines) - Road zone - Industrial zone - Port Industrial zone - Tauriko Industrial zone - Baypark Special Use - Active Open Space - Passive Open Space - Active Open Space - Major - Conservation zone - Greenbelt zone 4) Using the UseToCutBuffer I clipped the NZTANoiseBuffer and KiwiRailNoiseBuffer 5) Minor edits to the following (see pdfedits)
